We were able to deliver a Robobooster to DONK industries! DONK was looking for a suitable automation solution to deploy its employees more effectively and thus increase productivity while maintaining the same high quality standards. This is how they ended up with our Robobooster. A specially designed loading station ensures smooth loading and unloading of the machine. The gripper removes a part from this station and places it in the machine. After the milling process, it takes out the finished product and places it in the magazine. The cycle is repeated until all parts have gone through the process. This is how the Cobot has been working day and night since 2018.

Donk industries was looking for an automation solution to be able to deploy workers elsewhere. They already automate many other parts of the production process with industrial robots. Now the demand was for a product that is flexible with product variety and can quickly convert small quantities of the production line.

In addition, Donk Industries’ individual products require special operations. Especially collaborative applications meet these requirements: They can be flexibly converted for new tasks and are easy to program. Unlike conventional industrial robots, the combination of Cobot and associated end-of-arm tooling can be used right alongside people and works directly with them.
