Welding using the CoBot
The CoBot can do numerous types of welding tasks, such as TIG, MIG, Spot, Arc, Ultrasound and Plasma. Reduced production downtime, increased accuracy and less wasted material are just some of the many advantages of deploying a CoBot for this application.
A CoBot can add flexibility, efficiency and freedom to your welding processes. Move the robot to the area where you need the welding robot. When the task is finished, you can if you wish reprogram and redeploy it to other areas in your production.
Improve the safety of your production floor by allowing a robot to handle dangerous tasks. If the CoBots come into contact with a person, our patented technology limits the forces at contact. The CoBot can also be programmed to operate in reduced mode when a person enters the robot’s work area and resume full speed when the person leaves.
Easy programming and a short average set-up time make a robot arm ideal, especially for small-volume productions. Moving large-scale facilities for small-volume productions would not be economically viable, but with a CoBot this is unnecessary.
Robot arms are certified IP-54. They will need extra protection for certain operations.
